The New York Giants and New York Jets may not be in the Super Bowl this year, but local talent is.
Three New Jersey guys will be on the biggest stage in sports in Las Vegas.
Vineland's own Isiah Pacheco is gearing up for back-to-back Super Bowls with the Kansas City Chiefs. The former Rutgers University running back scored a touchdown in the AFC Championship game against the Baltimore Ravens this past weekend.
But keep an eye out for San Francisco 49ers safety Logan Ryan. The veteran is from Berlin and was drafted out of Rutgers back in 2013 by the New England Patriots. He helped them win two Super Bowls. And up until December, he wasn't on an NFL roster this season. He was signed when Trenton’s Jiayir Brown, also a 49ers safety, went out with an injury.
The Kansas City Chiefs and the San Francisco 49ers will meet on Feb. 11 in a Super Bowl rematch from four years ago.
