The second half of New Jersey’s controversial black bear hunt is set to begin on Monday, Dec. 4.
The hunt will run until Saturday, Dec. 9. During this part of the hunt shotguns will be permitted.

More than 250 bears were culled in the first half of the bear hunt in October.
