Johnson & Johnson's vaccine was administered to 250 people Friday at St. Matthew AME Church in Orange.

The event was by appointment only.

The site will rotate throughout several areas in Essex County. Organizers say they are aiming to reach residents in urban areas in order to get as many people as possible vaccinated.

The site will also begin giving out doses of the Moderna vaccine in the coming weeks.
