A driver escaped injury after a vehicle overturned and caught fire early Tuesday morning on Route 22 in Bridgewater.
The Bridgewater Fire Department was dispatched to Route 22 East around 3:53 a.m. for reports of an overturned vehicle.
While crews were en route, emergency responders were advised that the vehicle had caught fire.
Upon arrival, firefighters confirmed the sole occupant had successfully gotten out of the vehicle before flames spread and was not injured.
Crews quickly extinguished the fire and secured the scene.
The crash scene was later turned over to the Bridgewater Police Department.
The cause of the crash has not been released.
