Two coyote sightings over the weekend in a residential neighborhood have Glen Rock residents on alert.

Glen Rock police posted a message on social media Sunday stating that officers confirmed two separate coyote sightings. One was reported in the vicinity of Dunham Place. The other was in a wooded area behind Faber Field.

Police are advising residents in the area not to approach, follow or attempt to interact with the coyotes.

“Pets should be kept on a leash and closely supervised while outdoors,” police said.

Authorities said that in both sightings, the coyotes were seen together. Police said pets should be kept on a leash and supervised when outdoors.

Any additional sightings should be reported to the police department.
