A child was killed after being struck by NJ Transit train in Red Bank, according to town officials.
The incident happened on Wednesday morning at the Red Bank station.

At this time, it is unknown why the person was on the tracks.
"The amount of lives this child touched with his kindness and personality is overwhelming," said Deputy Mayor Kate Triggiano on social media.
