A suspect is being sought after a police cruiser was struck and the driver fled the scene early Sunday in Spring Valley.
The crash happened around 1 a.m. near Main Street and Maple Avenue while an officer was responding to a call.
Town police said a driver made an illegal left turn in front of the cruiser, causing the collision.
Police said the driver left the scene after the crash.
The officer was treated at the scene.
The cruiser sustained damage and had to be towed away.
Town police said they have the suspect’s license plate number and are continuing to look for the driver.
