Suspects in a North Brunswick murder and ensuing police chase are facing a long list of charges.
Authorities believe Cadre Williams, 31, is the man who shot Shakir McCray to death in his driveway Thursday. Andre Trott, 29, has been fingered as his alleged getaway driver.
Williams is a convicted felon from Georgia. He is facing charges of murder, eluding and resisting among others. His alleged associate is a reputed high-ranking Blood from Bermuda. Trott's charges include eluding, hindering and aggravated assault for injuries sustained by other drivers in the police chase.
Both were arraigned in a Middlesex County court Friday. A judge called both men a flight risk and set their bail higher than prosecutors asked for. Williams is being held on $2 million and Trott is being held on $900,000.
