A serious crash in New Brunswick left two drivers injured after their vehicles collided head-on early Sunday morning.

According to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office, the crash happened around 2:47 a.m. on Jersey Avenue near Triangle Road in New Brunswick.

When police arrived, they found that a 2009 Toyota Corolla and a 2017 Honda Accord were involved in the collision.

The Corolla was driven by a 26-year-old New Brunswick man who suffered serious injuries. The Accord was driven by a 25-year-old New Brunswick man, who sustained minor injuries. Both drivers were taken to Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital.

Investigators said both vehicles were traveling on Jersey Avenue when they collided.
