2 homes in Dunellen destroyed by massive fallen trees during deadly storms

Two families in Dunellen are cleaning up after massive trees destroyed their homes during Thursday's deadly storms.
Two trees sliced right through the Dosil family’s home on Pearl Place while they were inside. .
PSE&G crews worked through the Fourth of July weekend to restore all power by Monday morning.
"Our youngest daughter, who is going to be four next month – she was in the bedroom. We just put her down to go to sleep and the tree, without warning…[fell] right into her room, said Meghan Dosil. "My daughter was screaming. Thank God. I've never been so happy in my life to hear her scream."
Her husband Brian pulled his daughter out of the debris. Megan says the family of five only grabbed a few things, because aren't allowed back inside the home they were renting.
"Our oldest has autism so he didn't know what was going on," said Meghan. "We…put him in the car, he started crying. Everyone is screaming. It's like, it's OK."
Then on Madsion Avenue, the Fairchild family was out to the movies, except for Karen.
"Heard a very loud crash, then the ceiling imploded in the kitchen," said Karen Fairchild, who grabbed her dog and left the home.
Today, the small borough is still cleaning up, days after the deadly storm in neighboring towns.
"We call Dunellen ‘The Miracle Mile’ for a reason because it's a neighbor-helping-neighbor community," said Dunellen Mayor Jason Cilento. "The minute the storm was over, that first 15 minutes, people were outside helping neighbors."
Both families said they are thankful for all the support they've been given.
