Seaside Park shared photos and videos on their social media.
All 12 ducklings immediately jumped out of the cage and rushed to the water to reunite with their mother.
A video captured the moment when a police officer waved goodbye to the ducklings as they swam off with their mother.
The Seaside Park Police Department was praised for saving the ducklings.
