The New York Yankees were forced to delay the home opener at Yankee Stadium Monday due to a spring snowstorm.
The Yankees were set to take the field at 1:05 p.m. Monday.
The game has been rescheduled for Tuesday at 4:05 p.m.
The Yankees said in a tweet that all gates will open to ticketed fans at 2 p.m. Tuesday. Pregame ceremonies are expected to begin at 3:30 p.m.
Monday’s storm dropped over 6 inches of snow on parts of New York and New Jersey.
