Work to begin on Long Branch boardwalk
The Long Branch boardwalk could be back by next summer. A mile of the boardwalk was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy. Now, 2 1/2 years since the storm, construction is expected to begin by Memorial Day.

The Long Branch boardwalk could be back by next summer.
A mile of the boardwalk was destroyed by Superstorm Sandy. Now, 2 1/2 years since the storm, construction is expected to begin by Memorial Day.
City officials tell News 12 New Jersey that the project was held up due to money issues.
The majority of the construction should be completed by June 2016.
