A woman was hit and killed by a train Saturday morning just east of Ridgewood.
The crash occurred at around 8 a.m. between stations. The train left from Hoboken and was heading to Waldwick.
Thirteen passengers and three crew members were on board the train at the time of the accident. None of them were hurt.
Train service was briefly suspended between Ridgewood and Secaucus.
