(08/03/07) EDISON ? As the temperatures go up, many residents are plotting their weekend escape down the shore.
Many residents started their weekend early Friday morning in an effort to avoid the oppressive heat. Although many people further inland are coping with sweltering temps and high humidity, those at the shore say things at the beach are just perfect.
Beachgoers aren?t the only ones making out during the dog days of summer. Business owners at the shore say as temperatures go through the roof, so do sales.
