Scattered rain showers will remain in New Jersey for the remainder of Tuesday, after powerful thunderstorms Monday.
Monday’s storms caused damage across the state and left hundreds of thousands of New Jersey residents without power.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says that Tuesday’s overnight hours will remain mostly cloudy with temperatures cooling into the 60s.
Wednesday will see mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the low-80s and upper-70s. Curren says that the humidity will be low. Overnight lows will be in the mid-60s.
Thursday will also see mostly sunny skies with a high of around 85 degrees. Similar conditions are expected for Friday.
