Two separate water main breaks caused a traffic emergency Saturday in Montvale.

The first break occurred at 9:30 p.m. Friday night along Grand Avenue near the Garden State Parkway, which caused a one direction lane to shut down.

The second break was reported around 9:15 a.m., with the road also shut down in one direction.

Repairs have yet to be performed by Veolia Water Company, according to Montvale police.
