A crash on the turnpike left one person dead and another hurt Thursday in Burlington County, according to state police.
Authorities say Varlee Kamara, of Newark, was traveling south. in Mount Laurel Township just before 9 p.m.
He crossed over into the northbound lanes and struck a box truck heading north.
Kamara died at the scene, while the truck driver sustained minor injuries.
