Crews were on scene making repairs to a water main break on Route 202 in Morristown Monday morning.
Workers were repairing a water main break that closed all lanes of traffic in both directions. The closure has been ongoing since about 8 p.m. Sunday night.
According to a post by the Morristown Department of Public Safety, repairs were ongoing on Speedwell Avenue near Cattano Avenue. Drivers were advised to plan an alternate route.
Repairs are being finalized according to the Southeast Morris County Municipal Utilities Authority. Water service was restored to all customers around 2 a.m. Monday morning, according to officials.
Route 202 is expected to reopen by early Monday afternoon, and Cattano Avenue is expected to reopen around 2 p.m., according to a spokesperson for the water utility.
