The storm that touched down in Wantage Wednesday has been officially labeled a tornado by the National Weather Service.
Officials with the weather service say 120-mph winds swept through the township, leaving visible damage to trees along streets such as Rose Morrow Road.
"If you look really closely, there's a little bit of difference in direction of the tree?s coming down from one end to the other, indicating some kind of circulation going on there,? says Joe Miketta, of the National Weather Service.
Authorities say no one was injured during the tornado.
