Anyone planning on voting in the general election this November should make sure they are registered to vote.
The voter registration deadline is Tuesday, Oct. 17. Election Day is Nov. 7.
New Jersey residents are eligible to vote if they are 18 years old or older, are a United States citizen and have lived in New Jersey for at least 30 days prior to Election Day.
Those who are currently serving a sentence due to a felony conviction are not eligible. But persons currently on parole or probation are eligible to vote, as of March 17, 2020.
