Hurricane season has officially begun and the New Jersey Office of Emergency Management held its annual training session Saturday to prepare for potential storms.
More than 120 community volunteers from Central Jersey attended the seminars and learned how to help in different types of scenarios.
The New Jersey Office of Emergency Management is planning to meet with other response teams in North Jersey later this month.
