'Virtual tip jars' are helping those in the service industry who are out of work

With bars and restaurants closed, thousands of bartenders and servers across the state are uncertain about the future of their jobs.

With bars and restaurants closed, thousands of bartenders and servers across the state are uncertain about the future of their jobs.
Colleen Nealon, a bartender at Porta in Asbury Park created the idea, along with the Central Jersey chapter of the United States Bartending Guild, to create a virtual tip jar to allow people to donate to bartenders and restaurant servers who are out of work.
