Vinyl records make a comeback, surpass CD sales for 1st time in over 30 years

An unexpected comeback in the recording industry: Old school vinyl records have outsold CDs for the first time in over three decades.

Old school records are rising the ranks once again! The Recording Industry Association of America says vinyl records have outsold CDs for the first time in over three decades. Over 41 million vinyl albums were sold last year bringing in $1.2 billion. This is compared to only 33 million CDs being sold totaling $483 million.
