A vigil was held Sunday for a 3-year-old boy who was hit and killed as a driver fled police in Newark last week.
Police say Rahmere Tullis was walking with his mom to school just after 7:30 a.m. Friday when he was hit.
Officers were pursuing Troy Ruff, a fugitive allegedly wanted for aggravated assault.
Ruff is facing multiple charges, including vehicular homicide, after he jumped a curb and fatally struck the boy.
