The woman ran into a gas station in Bass River Township. A worker locked the door to keep 57-year-old James Parrillo Jr. from getting in.
Parillo now faces multiple charges, including kidnapping and assault.
The woman says Parrillo kept her against her will after they met in New Mexico a year ago.
When she escaped this month, she was only wearing shorts and a shirt in 40-degree weather.
