Authorities have identified the victim in a deadly residential fire in Rahway that broke out Tuesday morning on High Street.

Police say the woman who died has been identified as 57-year-old Tracey Buchanan.

Officials say police prevented another resident from going back inside the building.

Firefighters responding to the scene were also forced to pull back during the incident, officials say.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
