A residential fire prompted a multi-agency response early Monday morning in the Long Valley section of Washington Township.

The Washington Township Fire Department says crews were dispatched around 6:15 a.m. after reports of a structure fire.

Firefighters from the Long Valley Fire Company, Fairmount Fire Company and Schooley’s Mountain Fire Company all responded to the scene. Crews worked together to extinguish the flames and prevent the fire from spreading further through the home.

Officials say firefighters remained on scene for more than two hours before clearing the incident and returning to service.

No injuries were reported.
