New Jersey's booming film industry has officially hit the Shore with the opening of Long Branch's first major film production studio.

Congressman Josh Gottheimer announced the news on social media, congratulating Unlimited Studios on launching the brand-new facility. State and local leaders are cheering the move, noting that it will bring more jobs and increased economic investment to the Monmouth County area.

The arrival of Unlimited Studios is the latest proof that New Jersey is solidifying its status as a premier East Coast hub for film and television production.

The new Long Branch facility is strategically located just minutes from the massive, highly anticipated Netflix production campus. That multi-million-dollar studio is currently under construction at the former Fort Monmouth military base and is scheduled to be fully completed by 2028.

With both studios setting down roots on the coastal side of the state, industry insiders expect the Jersey Shore to see a massive influx of creative talent, local hiring and production spending over the next few years.
