Military planes carrying American evacuees from Lebanon arrived at McGuire Air Force Base Monday night. People getting off the planes say they are scared and tired. Many say they were near buildings that had been bombed. According to the travelers the whole trip back to the U.S. has been an ordeal. The evacuees first had to board a boat to Cyprus. From Cyprus they boarded planes bound for Germany where they then switched planes for the flight to McGuire. Evacuees who don?t live in the New York/New Jersey area then had to make commercial flight reservations to get home. Officials say more then 1,100 people have already arrived at McGuire and flights are expected to continue through Tuesday.
