The Transportation Safety Administration is sharing some tips to make sure everyone has a safe Halloween while traveling this season.
The agency says that since people may be traveling in costumes, they are urged to keep all props in their checked bags.

Capes, masks and painted faces may be asked to be removed for safety reasons.
Pumpkins – carved or painted – are allowed through security in carry-on bags. But anyone traveling with pumpkin drinks or creams should adhere to the 3.4 ounces or less rules.
