A church in Trenton was damaged Tuesday after fireworks accidentally landed on the roof and spread flames to the outside of the building, according to officials. No one was injured.
Trenton police said a passerby called 911 to report that the roof at The Evangelical Lutheran Church on South Broad Street was on fire around 1 a.m.
The fire didn’t reach inside the church, according to officials.
There is no word on how much damage the fire caused or if the church is open.
