Prosecutor: Car collides with motorcycle killing 1, injuring another in Totowa on Route 46

Prosecutors say a 2014 Acura MDX operated by a 22-year-old male collided with a 2008 Yamaha R6 motorcycle carrying two occupants, both 19-year-old males.

A car collided with a motorcycle Wednesday on Route 46 east in Totowa, killing the driver of the motorcycle, according to Passaic County prosecutors.
The collision happened near the Union Boulevard exit at 2 p.m. Prosecutors say a 2014 Acura MDX operated by a 22-year-old man collided with a 2008 Yamaha R6 motorcycle carrying two 19-year-old males.
They say both men on the motorcycle were transported to Saint Joseph's University Medical Center in Paterson. The driver was pronounced deceased. The passenger is stable at the hospital.
No injuries were reported by the driver of the car.
