The New Jersey Devils are getting a new look for the 2026-27 season, with black-and-red alternate jerseys unveiled Monday as part of a leaguewide collection from the NHL and Fanatics.
The Devils' Hometown Remix uniform features a predominantly black design with red lettering, numbers and sleeve stripes. The team's familiar NJ crest appears without its enclosing circle, emphasizing the logo's horns and tail.
According to the NHL, the jersey also features sculpted sleeve stripes, custom lettering and numbering, and embroidered detailing along the back. Inside the hem, outlines of New Jersey flank the state's name.
The new look is part of the Hometown Remix collection, featuring specially designed alternate jerseys for all 32 NHL teams inspired by each club's fans, local culture and identity.
The initiative marks the first leaguewide special edition uniform program developed by Fanatics since becoming the NHL's on-ice uniform provider in 2024.
Each team will wear its Hometown Remix uniforms several times during the 2026-27 season. The collection will appear in 261 games leaguewide, including 19 matchups in which both teams will wear their new alternate uniforms.
The Florida Panthers, Chicago Blackhawks and San Jose Sharks are scheduled to debut their jerseys Monday night.
Fans can purchase authentic and replica jerseys, along with matching apparel and headwear, beginning Monday through NHLShop.com, Fanatics.com and participating team stores.
The league's announcement did not specify when the Devils will first wear their new uniforms.
