A teenager accused in a deadly shooting will now be tried as an adult following a prosecutor’s decision in Jersey City.
Prosecutors say Naheim King was 17 years old when he shot and killed Rahmiere Morris.
Morris was 20 years old at the time.
The shooting happened about a year ago near Lembeck Street and Old Bergen Road.
Prosecutors did not explain why they decided to elevate the case to adult court.
