A new survey is ranking the states most and least worried about crime in the U.S., and New Jersey made the list.
According to the survey done by home security company Safewise, New Jersey is the six most worried state out of the top eight.
But the survey shows it wasn't violent crime that residents fear most, but digital crime, and becoming a victim of identity theft.

New Jersey and New York both have digital crime rates above the national average, but New Jersey tied with Massachusetts for the lowest number of respondents who've actually been a victim of digital crime.
Louisiana came in on top as the most worried, followed by Alabama and Massachusetts.
Vermont ranked number one as the least worried, followed by Utah and Montana.
