Summit Medical Group rolled out Moderna's coronavirus vaccine Tuesday.
The group received an initial allotment of doses from New Jersey's Department of Health to be administered to its health care workers.
The group's CEO, Dr. Jeffrey Le Benger, and other medical staff were among the first to receive the vaccine.
"For us, to protect the staff moving forward and to protect the population is really important for us, so to be in the first line of the vaccination program, and to have our staff be part of it, is just a wonderful thing for the whole of the country,” says Dr. Le Benger.
They plan to inoculate thousands of its providers and employees in the coming weeks.
