Man arrested for allegedly riding scooter while intoxicated

A man from Hoboken is facing DWI charges after police found him erratically driving a scooter.

A man from Hoboken is facing DWI charges after police found him erratically driving a scooter.
The arrest happened Sunday around 4:08 p.m. in the area of Newark Street and Park Avenue.
Police stopped Nicholas Cutrone, 26, of Hoboken, after they say he was swaying back and forth and about to lose control at any moment.
According to police, Cutrone eventually stopped the scooter and officers performed a field sobriety test on him, which he failed.
He was placed under arrest.
Police say Cutrone refused to do a Breathalyzer back at headquarters.
He was released later that night.
Cutrone faces charges of driving while intoxicated (Scooter), reckless driving, among other charges.
