Rutgers University officials say that white supremacist recruitment posters showed up on New Brunswick and Piscataway campuses Monday.
The posters were apparently put up by the group Identity Evropa, a white nationalist group that has been recruiting on college campuses across the United States.
Rutgers officials condemned the flyers and released a statement that said, “The flyers -- and the handwritten sign found on a campus bus -- do not represent the principles and values of the university, which include diversity, inclusivity and respect for people of all backgrounds."
The statement went on to say that there is no place in our society for bigotry, racism and white supremacy.
The flyers have been removed from all university facilities and vehicles.
