Milder temperatures arrive today with a breezy southwest wind at 15-25 mph. There will be broken and scattered clouds in the sky.
Mild overnight lows will be near 42 degrees with a mostly cloudy sky for Wednesday.
Wednesday will look dreary but feel like spring with added humidity and mild air. Thunderstorms take aim for New Jersey through the evening commute from 4-7 p.m. These downpours will create localized area flooding as about 0.75 - 1 inch of rain is expected within a short period of time (3 hours). Few thunderstorms may be severe with gusts near 60mph. On average, thunderstorms will create 45mph gusts as they pass.
The wind continues after the storms into Thursday, from the west-northwest cooling temperatures headed toward the weekend. Thursday will be windy with temperatures gradually falling after they rise a little through the late morning.
It remains dry into Friday, too. The next chance for rain will be a few sprinkles on Saturday.
