Some crimes are more personal than others, according to Sayreville police who are looking for a suspected underwear thief.

Police posted security photos on Facebook of a person in question at a laundromat. They say someone took a man's laundry from the laundromat on Bordentown Avenue near the Winding Woods Apartments. They also say many items are identifiable from Utica University Athletics, size XL.

Authorities say they’re giving this suspect the benefit of the doubt and say the items could have been taken by accident. However, they still want to find this person.

Police say they will coordinate the return, no questions asked. However, they say the offer doesn't stand if they find the suspect first. Anyone with information is asked to contact 732-727-4444.
