State lawmakers have advanced a bill focused on pothole repairs. The state Senate passed the bill 35-0 Thursday afternoon.
Under the bill, the state Department of Transportation must give up more information in its annual report, detail the number of pothole repairs that are made and report the cost of those repairs.
That same bill has stalled in the state Assembly. It would need to pass there before it can be signed by Gov. Phil Murphy.
