The DOT would have to detail the number of potholes repaired on state roads, report on the cost of those repairs and provide information on the claims made by drivers after cars are damaged.
All of that information would need to be offered to the public at large on the Department of Transportation website if the law goes into effect.
The bill made it through a state Senate Transportation Committee and is headed to the full state Senate for a vote.
