State of emergency lifted following severe New Jersey snowstorm
She thanked workers across New Jersey for their response and coordination during what she described as the worst storm the state has seen in a decade.

The state of emergency in New Jersey is over, now that the most powerful snowstorm in a decade has passed.
Gov. Mikie Sherrill said that transportation - from the roads to rails and airports - is quickly ramping up to where it was before the snowfall.
The governor spoke from Maplewood, alongside of leadership from the New Jersey State Police, New Jersey Transit and the Department of Transportation.
Officials say that NJ Transit train service is again available Monday and Tuesday on a weekend schedule.
A total of 85 bus lines are back on the road and highways are again clear for commercial trucks to resume deliveries.
“I also really want to thank the people of New Jersey who did a great job staying home. Thank you. That’s what helped us to achieve black top this morning very, very early,” said Gov. Sherrill.
New Jersey state troopers responded to 206 motor vehicle accidents between Saturday and this Monday morning. Law enforcement officials says that none of those accidents were serious.
