Caught on camera: Man steals from donation box

A man was caught on camera removing cash from a donation box in Ocean City that was meant to help an animal shelter.
“We are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying this gentleman who helped himself to a donation box filled with currency for the Ocean City Humane Society,” Ocean City Police said.
The small box can be seen in security video sitting on a counter, filled with cash. Footage shows the suspect reaching in and removing money from the container.
According to police, the man has a distinctive ring on his right index finger. He was also dressed in what appears to be a Philadelphia Eagles jersey and cap.
