As Gov. Phil Murphy and the state Department of Health monitor the rise in COVID-19 cases, they announced Monday, that all state employees will report to offices on a hybrid basis through Jan. 10.
The change in work schedules are to "ensure the health and safety of state workers," according to the governor's office. They hybrid schedule is to reduce the number off individuals in the office at the same time.
In addition to the hybrid work setting, state employees are still required to wear masks, follow cleaning protocols and social distance. All state employees are required to show proof of vaccination or be subject to regular testing.
