A New Jersey rock 'n' roll icon is returning for his annual New Year's Eve show at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank.
Southside Johnny is known as an architect of the Jersey Shore sound.
The New Jersey musician says that New Year's is all about giving everyone a new start.
"It's been a very chaotic year and the last four months have been bizarre," Southside Johnny said. "And I think people's pent up emotions got released and now they want to forget about it a while. And I think that's what New Year's is all about."
Tickets are still available for the show.
