Parents of Woodbridge teens that frequent a town skate park can check out what?s going on at the park with new technology that lets them watch online.
Woodbridge Township recently installed a $22,000 camera system at the park that parents and police can access on the Internet.
Mayor John McCormac says the town has had problems with kids moving equipment and spray painting graffiti at the park. He says the cameras are a nice resource that will hopefully prevent that kind of activity in the future.
Parents generally say the cameras are a good idea, while kids say they?re an invasion of privacy.
The town hopes the new equipment will keep the recreation area safe for years to come.
