ShopRite is offering free nutrition starter kits to customers beginning GLP-1 medications for weight management, the supermarket chain announced Wednesday.
The updated Wellness Your Way Starter Kits are available for a limited time at all ShopRite Pharmacy locations. Customers filling their first GLP-1 prescription at a ShopRite Pharmacy will receive a complimentary kit while supplies last.
The kits include an expanded nutrition guide developed with guidance from a ShopRite registered dietitian, offering aisle-by-aisle shopping tips, product recommendations and recipes.
The guide highlights nutritional considerations such as protein, fiber, hydration and nutrient-dense foods. Each kit also includes samples from participating brands.
The initiative follows the program's initial launch earlier this year.
