Shoppers have been flocking in excess to malls across New Jersey to get gifts this holiday season despite the coronavirus pandemic. This includes Bridgewater Commons, where another busy day is expected today.
Mall parking lots across the state were packed Tuesday night, from Menlo Park to the Woodbridge Center.
Shoppers say they have been ordering online, but also buying in person, and for the most part, they feel safe with a mask on. Other shoppers are doing the same.
“No, not at all,” says Dina Agadzr, of Edison. “It seems like everyone is social distancing and keeping the masks, and doing the good thing."
Some shoppers say they headed to shopping plazas because their online orders are delayed.
